Tongxiu Liang
Her art
Dedicated body and soul to the technique of oil painting, which she subtly combines with the art of Chinese calligraphy, Tongxiu Liang magnifies the landscapes of the Marne, the Seine, or Tibet, where she has stayed many times. The spirituality that emanates from Tibet inspires her to the point that it has become one of her favorite subjects. However, she also excels in the art of portraiture, capturing her loved ones or people she has met during her travels. On the canvas, their striking expressiveness brings her characters to life, giving them an almost tangible presence. The contrast between the powerful strength of her works and the soft, warm personality of the artist is unexpected.
Her life
A graduate in the arts, Tongxiu Liang was a professor of Fine Arts for 5 years at the University of Canton before arriving in France in 1992, where she fulfilled her childhood dream of becoming a painter. She has participated in numerous exhibitions as an artist in China, Switzerland, England, and France, and has received many awards for her works. Her pieces have also been acquired by various museums in China and have become part of major private collections in France and Asia
